Who you are

You have extensive experience in embedded software development, particularly in projects involving power management and low power modes. Your background includes working with ARM Cortex-M architecture and multi-core MCU systems, ensuring efficient power management in mission-critical applications. You understand the intricacies of vehicle communication systems, including CAN, LIN, and Ethernet, and have a solid grasp of Real Time Operating Systems.

You are skilled in designing and implementing power state machines, optimizing low power modes, and minimizing dark current in automotive applications. Your experience with ISO 26262-compliant software design for automotive controllers demonstrates your commitment to safety and reliability in critical systems. You are proficient in debugging hardware-level issues using tools like oscilloscopes and power analyzers, ensuring robust system performance.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for developing the core system software for zonal controllers, focusing on power management and sleep/wakeup logic. You will design and implement power state machines that manage various operational states, including initialization, normal operation, sleep, standby, and shutdown. Your work will directly contribute to maximizing vehicle power efficiency and ensuring stable system operation in critical scenarios.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network management protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet, ensuring seamless communication between vehicle systems. Your expertise will guide the design of low power mode scenarios, optimizing the system for energy efficiency while maintaining performance. You will also be involved in the development of communication interfaces for power management ICs, enhancing the overall functionality of the zonal controller.
