Job Description
Who you are
You have over 13 years of experience in corporate law, investment, M&A, fair trade, and intellectual property. Your expertise includes managing legal risks associated with technology projects, particularly in the IT and automotive sectors. You hold a Korean Bar qualification and have a deep understanding of the legal landscape surrounding software-defined vehicles and autonomous driving technologies.
You are adept at drafting and reviewing contracts, ensuring compliance with laws, and providing legal advice to business leaders. Your experience includes leading initiatives related to intellectual property, including managing IP portfolios and responding to disputes. You are a strategic thinker who can identify and mitigate legal risks effectively.
What you'll do
As the Legal & IP Lead at 42dot, you will direct all legal initiatives across the company's business, focusing on software-defined vehicles and autonomous driving technology. You will analyze legal risks associated with various projects and provide legal support for compliance and internal processes. Your role will involve drafting and reviewing contracts in both Korean and English, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with relevant laws.
You will lead the development and management of 42dot's IP portfolio, coordinating with outside counsel as necessary. You will also advise on the legal implications of company policies and procedures, report on legal activities, risks, and litigation, and support various departments such as HR, finance, and strategy with legal matters.
