You are an experienced IP professional with a strong background in managing intellectual property portfolios. Your experience includes working closely with legal teams and external counsel to navigate complex IP issues. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively manage relationships with external vendors and internal stakeholders. You are proactive in identifying potential infringements and are skilled at escalating matters to the appropriate legal channels. Your ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of researchers, engineers, and policy experts is a key asset.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead Anthropic's online brand protection program, managing a heavy volume of infringements and ensuring that all enforcement matters are addressed promptly. You will collaborate with IP attorneys to develop and implement strategies for trademark, domain, and patent management. Your responsibilities will include tracking and actioning infringements, as well as maintaining accurate records of all IP-related activities.
You will also be involved in the development of policies and procedures that support the overall IP strategy of the company. This includes conducting regular audits of the IP portfolio and identifying areas for improvement. You will play a crucial role in educating team members about IP best practices and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
