Who you are

You have over 8 years of experience in backend or platform development, with a strong focus on OTA (Over-The-Air) systems or software deployment projects. Your deep understanding of backend infrastructure components, such as gateways and databases, allows you to design and implement robust systems that ensure reliable software updates for vehicles.

You are proficient in Go and have a solid grasp of compiled and statically typed languages, which enables you to write efficient and maintainable code. Your experience with version control tools like Git ensures that you can manage code changes effectively and collaborate with your team seamlessly.

Your troubleshooting skills are highly developed, allowing you to analyze complex issues and devise effective solutions. You excel in coordinating diverse perspectives and facilitating effective communication to resolve problems, making you a valuable team player.

You have a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, which provides you with the foundational knowledge necessary for this role. Your analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities are complemented by your experience in working with embedded software or IoT devices, giving you a unique perspective on the challenges faced in vehicle OTA systems.

Desirable

Experience with vehicle OTA systems is a plus, as is familiarity with developing simple web tools for testing and operational purposes. Your understanding of DevOps practices and related tools, such as CI/CD and orchestration tools, will further enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the OTA update system's server or platform. You will define and implement communication protocols and data interfaces between in-vehicle systems and servers, ensuring seamless integration with external client systems.

You will also conduct testing for various controllers involved in the OTA update process, addressing any issues that arise during testing. Your expertise will be crucial in providing a stable software deployment experience for SDV (Software Defined Vehicle) OTA services.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including embedded software, design, and operations, will be essential as you work to enhance the overall functionality and reliability of the OTA systems. You will leverage your knowledge of cloud services to optimize the development and operational processes.
