AbCellera is seeking an Associate MSAT Engineer for a 12-month contract to support initial manufacturing activities at their new GMP clinical monoclonal antibody manufacturing facility. This role requires 2+ years of related work experience in bioprocessing.

You have 2+ years of related work experience in bioprocessing, demonstrating a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to contribute effectively to a team. You are highly motivated and dynamic, eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. Your analytical skills allow you to perform data collection, analysis, and trending for manufacturing batches, ensuring that processes are efficient and effective. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, QA, and Process Development, to support batch readiness activities and knowledge transfer. You have a keen interest in continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on process robustness and yield improvement.
What you'll do
As an Associate MSAT Engineer, you will contribute to the initial manufacturing activities at AbCelleraβs new GMP clinical monoclonal antibody manufacturing facility. Your daily tasks will include performing data collection and analysis for manufacturing batches, which involves bioreactor, chromatography, and filtration steps. You will support the execution and documentation of process characterization, scale-up, or troubleshooting studies, ensuring that all processes are well-documented and compliant with GMP standards. You will participate in deviation investigations and support root cause analysis, helping to identify and resolve issues that may arise during manufacturing. Additionally, you will maintain and organize process monitoring databases and dashboards, providing valuable insights into manufacturing performance. Your collaboration with various teams will be crucial in transferring knowledge and supporting batch readiness activities, contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing process.
