Academia is hiring a Senior Product Manager for their Discovery Hub to enhance user engagement and streamline research discovery. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize the user experience. This position requires significant experience in product management.

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally within tech or research-focused environments. Your background includes a strong understanding of user engagement strategies and the ability to leverage data to inform product decisions. You excel in cross-functional collaboration, working closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to drive product success.

You are passionate about enhancing user experiences and have a track record of successfully launching products that resonate with users. Your analytical mindset allows you to interpret user data and feedback effectively, ensuring that product features align with user needs and business goals. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy mentoring junior team members, sharing your knowledge and insights to foster their growth.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the product strategy for the Discovery Hub, focusing on how to best present the user experience to drive engagement. You will collaborate with various teams to integrate features such as profiles and recommendations, ensuring a seamless user journey. Your responsibilities will include defining product roadmaps, conducting user research, and analyzing metrics to inform product iterations. You will also engage with stakeholders to align product goals with company objectives, ensuring that the Discovery Hub meets the needs of researchers and scholars globally.

You will be responsible for prioritizing features based on user feedback and business impact, conducting A/B testing to validate hypotheses, and iterating on product designs based on data-driven insights. Your role will involve regular communication with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the product development process. You will also represent the product in meetings with executives, articulating the vision and progress of the Discovery Hub.
