You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with sales teams and customer engineering to ensure successful implementations. Your communication skills allow you to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are proactive in leading technical discovery sessions and enjoy the challenge of addressing customer requirements in real-time.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms and data integration patterns is a plus. Familiarity with technical documentation and reference architectures will help you excel in this role. A background in sales engineering or customer-facing technical roles will enhance your ability to succeed.

What you'll do

As the Director of Solutions Engineering, you will lead the Solutions Engineering team and act as the primary technical point of contact throughout the sales cycle. You will partner with Account Executives to drive new business and expansion, ensuring that customer requirements are deeply understood and addressed. Your role will involve designing and articulating solution architectures that demonstrate how AccuWeather's APIs and products integrate into client environments.

You will deliver tailored product demos and technical deep-dives, showcasing how our solutions meet customer use cases. Your responsibilities will include translating customer business problems into clear technical solutions and implementation plans. You will work closely with customer engineering, data, and IT teams to define data flows, API usage, and security considerations.

In addition to leading technical discovery, you will create technical documentation and reference architectures that support the implementation of solutions. You will also join sales calls and presentations to handle technical questions and objections, ensuring that our solutions are effectively communicated and understood.
