You possess deep knowledge of conversational AI technologies and have experience with large language models (LLMs) — your understanding of prompt engineering and AI-powered solution design enables you to guide your team in creating impactful customer experiences. You are a thought leader in the field, having presented at conferences or published technical content that showcases your insights and expertise.

Your leadership style is collaborative and empowering — you thrive on mentoring and developing your team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. You are adept at establishing scalable processes and best practices for pre-sales engagements, ensuring that your team is equipped to handle complex technical discussions with clients.

What you'll do

As the Director of Solutions Engineering, you will build and lead a high-performing team of Solutions Architects — your primary responsibility will be to drive the adoption of Decagon's AI-native platform across various complex enterprises. You will oversee the hiring, mentoring, and development of your team, ensuring they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.

You will establish and implement scalable processes for pre-sales engagements, working closely with sales and product teams to align technical solutions with customer needs. Your role will involve engaging with clients to understand their challenges and demonstrating how Decagon's technology can transform their customer interactions.

You will also be responsible for providing technical guidance during the sales process, addressing any concerns or questions from potential clients — your ability to communicate complex technical concepts in an accessible manner will be key to building trust and credibility.

In addition, you will collaborate with product development teams to provide feedback on customer needs and help shape the future direction of Decagon's offerings. Your insights will be invaluable in ensuring that the solutions you deliver are not only technically sound but also aligned with market demands.
