Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in product management, particularly in subscription services or SaaS products. You possess a strong understanding of market trends and customer needs, enabling you to identify growth opportunities effectively. Your analytical skills allow you to develop metrics and KPIs that evaluate platform performance and drive strategic decisions. You are adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product, business development, and marketing, to align revenue strategies with overall company objectives. You have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful business plans that maximize revenue and growth. You are comfortable preparing annual budgets and conducting market analysis to validate new products and expansion opportunities.
Desirable
Experience in the SMB sector or familiarity with subscription-based business models would be advantageous. A background in data analysis or familiarity with tools that support performance tracking can enhance your effectiveness in this role.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the growth and development of the SMB subscription business at AccuWeather. You will develop and implement a comprehensive plan for a new SaaS portal that serves as a landing page for all SMB subscription products. Your strategic planning will involve collaborating with functional teams to define the product vision and roadmap, focusing on customer needs and revenue maximization. You will actively support and advise the product team in building out the SMB platform and exploring new revenue opportunities. You will leverage the SMB portal to upsell existing customers into the larger enterprise business where possible. Additionally, you will create and track annual budgets for the division, ensuring that financial goals align with growth objectives. You will analyze market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and conduct competitor analysis to ensure that SMB products remain competitive and innovative. Your leadership will foster collaboration among product, business development, and marketing teams to drive the growth of the subscription business.
