What you'll do
As a Legal Counsel at Acumen, you will provide general legal support to the organizationβs returnable fund activities. You will work closely with the Director of Legal and the General Counsel, ensuring that all legal aspects of fund formation and management are handled with expertise. Your role will involve drafting and reviewing legal documents, advising on compliance matters, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that Acumen's operations align with its mission.
You will be involved throughout the lifecycle of the funds, from formation to deployment, ensuring that all legal requirements are met. Your insights will help shape the legal framework that supports Acumen's investment strategies, allowing the organization to effectively tackle poverty and promote social causes.
