What you'll do

As the Senior Director of Engineering at Aerospike, you will own the delivery of major product areas and platforms, driving roadmap execution, quality, reliability, and predictable releases. You will translate company strategy into actionable engineering plans, staffing models, and quarterly/annual execution, ensuring that your teams are equipped to meet their goals.

You will provide architectural direction and technical oversight for core product areas, championing performance, scalability, and security-by-design principles. Your role will involve improving engineering velocity and consistency across teams, implementing best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

You will lead cross-functional collaboration efforts, working closely with product management, design, and other stakeholders to ensure that engineering efforts align with business objectives. Your ability to guide design and architecture reviews will be crucial in maintaining high standards of technical excellence.
