Your experience includes defining architectural strategies and working closely with product stakeholders to align technical goals with business objectives. You are adept at crafting multi-quarter roadmaps and ensuring your teams are equipped to execute on these plans.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside cross-functional teams to develop innovative data solutions. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is a key strength, enabling you to drive alignment and understanding across the organization.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the Data and Storage Services team, focusing on the Online Storage team. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the development of frameworks, systems, and tools that support new Affirm products. You will guide your team in building reliable and efficient data solutions that enhance user experience and operational capabilities.

You will collaborate with product managers and other engineering teams to define future architectural states that align with Affirm's vision. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the execution of technical roadmaps, ensuring that your team meets deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.

You will also be responsible for mentoring and developing your team members, fostering an inclusive culture that encourages ownership and innovation. Regular one-on-one meetings will help you understand individual team members' career aspirations and provide the support they need to grow.

Your role will involve regular communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines. You will be expected to present updates on progress and challenges, facilitating discussions that lead to effective solutions.
