Who you are
You have a strong background in information security, with at least 10 years of experience in developing and leading security programs within the financial sector. Your expertise includes designing security frameworks that comply with regulatory standards such as FDIC guidance, ensuring that security measures align with the organization's risk appetite. You possess excellent leadership skills, enabling you to manage cross-functional teams effectively and communicate security strategies to executive management and the Board.
You are well-versed in cybersecurity governance, technical controls, and third-party risk oversight. Your experience includes developing policies and procedures that govern data protection and incident response, ensuring that security is integrated into every aspect of the Bank's operations. You have a proactive approach to identifying potential security threats and implementing measures to mitigate risks.
What you'll do
As the Director of Information Security, you will be responsible for establishing and leading the Bank's information security and cybersecurity programs. You will design and implement an enterprise-wide security framework that meets regulatory expectations and protects customer and institutional data. Collaborating closely with technology, risk, and operations teams, you will ensure that security is embedded in all systems and processes from inception through growth.
You will oversee the development of information security governance and technical controls, providing regular reporting to executive management and the Board on the status of the security posture. Your role will involve leading the development of policies, standards, and procedures that govern cybersecurity and data protection, ensuring alignment with the Bank's overall risk management framework.
