What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for defining the technical strategy for your team over the course of a year — you will tie this strategy to critical business-impacting projects that drive the success of Affirm's integrations with enterprise merchants. You will collaborate closely with product management, design, and analytics teams to ensure that technical risks and trade-offs are well understood and managed throughout the product development lifecycle.

You will take ownership of your team’s operations and availability, ensuring that the right monitoring, triage rotations, and playbooks are in place to support ongoing operations and on-call efforts. Your role will also involve fostering a culture of quality by setting high standards for code reviews and design, advocating for these standards beyond your immediate team.

Additionally, you will help develop talent on your team by providing constructive feedback and guidance — leading by example and encouraging a collaborative environment where everyone can thrive. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of Affirm's API solutions, ultimately enhancing the user experience for consumers and merchants alike.
