Who you are
You have a strong background in backend engineering with at least 5 years of experience in building scalable systems — you've led teams and projects that leverage AI and integration capabilities to enhance software functionality. Your expertise in Java and Python allows you to develop robust backend solutions that meet complex business needs.
You possess a deep understanding of cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and have experience in designing REST APIs that facilitate seamless data integration. Your familiarity with machine learning concepts enables you to contribute to the development of intelligent features that enhance user experience.
You are a hands-on leader who enjoys mentoring junior engineers and fostering a collaborative team environment. Your communication skills allow you to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment across teams.
You thrive in a data-driven environment and are passionate about leveraging data to drive decision-making and improve software performance. Your ability to analyze and optimize backend processes contributes to the overall efficiency of the development lifecycle.

What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the technical direction of Agiloft's backend systems, shaping the future evolution of the Data-first Agreement Platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers and other engineering teams to define and implement features that enhance contract management processes.
You will be responsible for designing and developing scalable backend services that support the platform's functionality, ensuring high availability and performance. Your work will involve integrating AI tools to accelerate development capabilities and improve maintainability.
You will mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback will be key aspects of your leadership responsibilities.
You will also engage with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications, ensuring that the solutions you develop align with business objectives. Your contributions will directly impact the customer experience, as you work to enhance the platform's usability and effectiveness.
