You have a strong background in finance with experience in accounting control procedures — you've successfully supervised accounting teams and managed month-end close processes in a fast-paced environment. Your excellent communication and analytical skills enable you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Compliance, and Trade Operations. You are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining accurate accounting records, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Proficiency in MS Office software, particularly intermediate to advanced Excel skills, is essential for your role. You thrive in dynamic settings and can multitask effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.
What you'll do
As a Financial Controller at Akuna, you will monitor and improve accounting control procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency. You will supervise the accounting team, guiding them through the month-end close process for multiple entities.
