What you'll do

As the Director of Engineering, you will own the vision and strategy for Alchemy's infrastructure and platform — your leadership will guide multiple teams responsible for the core systems that power our products. You will ensure that our infrastructure remains at the forefront of the blockchain ecosystem, capable of supporting the needs of top web3 brands and millions of end users.

You will partner closely with product and executive leadership to define the technical direction of the platform — your insights will shape the roadmap and priorities for infrastructure development. You will be responsible for setting performance metrics and ensuring that teams meet their goals while maintaining high standards of reliability and efficiency.

You will lead initiatives to optimize our systems for cost and performance — your expertise in distributed systems will be crucial as you identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that enhance our capabilities. You will also oversee the integration of new technologies that can further elevate our platform's offerings.

You will mentor and develop engineering managers and their teams — fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement will be key to your success. You will encourage innovation and experimentation, empowering your teams to explore new ideas and approaches.

What we offer

Alchemy provides a competitive salary range of $300,000 - $350,000 annually, reflecting the importance of this leadership role.
