You have a strong background in blockchain technology and distributed systems — you've designed and implemented protocols that ensure security, speed, and stability in decentralized applications. Your experience with Solidity and Ethereum allows you to create optimized smart contracts that can scale effectively. You understand the nuances of onchain development and are passionate about bringing web3 to a broader audience.
You possess excellent coding skills and a keen eye for detail — your code is not only functional but also highly readable and maintainable. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly makes you a valuable team member.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for the architecture and design of distributed protocols that augment Alchemy's developer platform. You will work on building secure and efficient smart contracts that will serve as a foundation for thousands of teams and millions of users globally. Your contributions will directly impact the scalability and reliability of onchain applications.
You will collaborate with other engineers to ensure that the protocols you develop meet the highest standards of performance and security. This includes writing comprehensive test suites to validate your code and participating in code reviews to maintain quality across the team. You will also stay updated with the latest trends in blockchain technology to continuously improve the protocols you work on.
What we offer
Alchemy provides a competitive salary range between $135,000 and $350,000 annually, reflecting your experience and skills. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 401k and unlimited flexible time off, to support your work-life balance.
