Alloy is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer to work closely with account executives and technical stakeholders to close deals. You'll be involved in custom demos, proof of concept exercises, and architecture reviews. This position requires 4+ years of experience in a technical presales role.
Job Description
Who you are
You have over 4 years of experience in a technical presales role, such as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Engineer, where you've developed a strong understanding of customer needs and technical requirements. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders sets you apart, allowing you to bridge the gap between sales and engineering teams effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with account executives to drive successful outcomes for clients.
Your technical expertise enables you to conduct custom demos and manage user acceptance testing (UAT) environments, ensuring that clients have a clear understanding of how Alloy's solutions can address their identity risk challenges. You are skilled in designing and managing proof of concept exercises, which help demonstrate the value of Alloy's offerings to potential customers. Your experience in architecture and security reviews equips you to provide valuable insights during the sales process, ensuring that proposed solutions meet both technical and business requirements.
What you'll do
In this role, you will partner closely with account executives to close deals by addressing technical hurdles that may arise during the sales process. You will be responsible for conducting custom demos that showcase Alloy's capabilities, tailoring presentations to meet the specific needs of each client. Your role will involve building and managing UAT environments, allowing clients to experience Alloy's solutions firsthand and understand their potential impact on their operations.
You will design and oversee proof of concept exercises, working collaboratively with clients to ensure that their requirements are met and that they see the value in Alloy's offerings. Additionally, you will conduct architecture and security reviews, providing insights that help shape the proposed solutions and ensure they align with industry standards and best practices.
Your contributions will be critical in scoping out the proposed solutions, which you will hand over to the implementation team for execution. You will play a key role in ensuring that the transition from sales to implementation is smooth and that clients feel supported throughout the process. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be essential in driving successful outcomes for Alloy and its clients.
