Who you are

You have a strong background in government sales and a deep understanding of cloud computing solutions — your experience has equipped you with the business savvy necessary to engage effectively with Federal customers. You are a US Citizen and possess the technical knowledge to help drive the adoption of Amazon Web Services (AWS) within the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Your ability to establish and nurture business and technical relationships is key — you understand the mission and environment of your customers, allowing you to identify and pursue key opportunities effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with Public Sector Sales, Legal, Marketing, Product, and Executive Leadership to define go-to-market strategies.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing a growing customer base across the VA — your day-to-day interactions will involve engaging with key Federal systems integrators and solutions providers. You will drive business and technical relationships, launching customers at a rapid rate by helping to define and identify opportunities that align with their IT strategies.

You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that AWS is positioned as a leading cloud platform provider — your efforts will focus on increasing awareness and adoption of AWS solutions among Federal customers. You will also be tasked with determining the most effective strategies to penetrate the market and drive revenue growth.

What we offer

Amazon provides a competitive salary range of $92,400.00 - $160,000.00 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your contributions directly impact the growth of AWS in the Federal sector.
