Desirable

Familiarity with audio quality models such as DNSMOS, NISQA, and VISQOL would be a plus, as would any experience with audio performance validation. You are encouraged to apply even if you don't meet every requirement, as your willingness to learn and grow is what matters most.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support the development of intelligent audio systems across the Ring/Blink product portfolio. Your primary focus will be on AI-powered audio tuning and quality evaluation, where you will leverage objective speech quality models to assess audio performance. You will assist in validating the performance of microphone and speaker systems, conducting data analysis to ensure optimal audio quality.

You will collaborate with acoustic, hardware, firmware, and algorithm teams throughout the product development lifecycle. This hands-on experience will provide you with exposure to AI-assisted audio evaluation and system-level validation. You will contribute to the execution of cross-functional engineering tasks, ensuring that the audio systems meet the high standards expected by Ring customers.
