Who you are

You have a strong background in systems engineering, particularly with phased array systems, and possess hands-on experience with RF equipment. Your expertise includes performing root cause analysis and validating system performance metrics, ensuring that you can effectively troubleshoot and optimize complex systems. You are comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary team environment, collaborating with software engineers and other technical experts to drive product requirements based on testing needs.

You have experience in simulation and modeling of digital phased array systems, allowing you to contribute to end-to-end system analysis. Your technical skills are complemented by your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that project goals are met efficiently. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for improving test speed and data collection processes.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the integration, simulation, and testing of state-of-the-art space-borne phased array systems. You will measure and validate system performance, performing root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues. Your work will involve interfacing with standard RF equipment to enable automation and efficient data collection, which is crucial for the success of the LEO initiative.

You will create and modify software features to facilitate testing of phased array system metrics, such as EIRP, EVM, and G/T. Acting as a liaison with the Leo software team, you will drive new product requirements based on RF system test needs, ensuring that the systems meet the high standards required for satellite communication.

Your role will also include performing end-to-end modeling and simulation of digital phased array systems, contributing to the overall success of the project. You will collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team, sharing insights and findings to enhance the performance and reliability of the systems being developed.
