Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Communications and possess strong expertise in ASIC verification processes. With a solid understanding of architectural specifications, you can define and create microarchitecture specifications that guide junior engineers effectively. Your experience includes evaluating third-party IP blocks and estimating power, performance, and area for significant IPs early in the design cycle. You are skilled in executing design specifications to deliver high-quality RTL and ensuring quality by running and tracking results of front-end tools including synthesis, linting, power analysis, and static timing analysis.

You have a collaborative mindset and enjoy taking the lead in working with verification teams to define functional coverage. Your ability to work with pre-silicon verification teams allows you to assist in defining test plans and test benches, while your experience with post-silicon validation teams helps you define and execute on test plans. You are detail-oriented and capable of writing high-quality documents that guide and lead a scalable team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will join a vertically integrated team environment focused on delivering highly differentiated silicon for Blink and Ring battery-powered devices. You will drive early architectural and micro-architectural trade-offs to reduce time-to-revenue, ensuring that the products meet customer requirements. Your work will involve architectural modeling and post-silicon validation, contributing to the development of super-low power, energy-efficient designs that incorporate the latest advancements in AI, video processing, and low power communications.

You will define architecture specifications based on requirements from product teams and create microarchitecture specifications suitable for implementation by junior engineers. Evaluating third-party IP blocks will be part of your responsibilities, as well as estimating power, performance, and area for significant IPs early in the design cycle. You will execute on design specifications to deliver high-quality RTL and ensure quality by running and tracking results of front-end tools including synthesis, lint, power analysis, and static timing analysis.

Additionally, you will take the lead in working with verification teams to define functional coverage and collaborate with pre-silicon verification teams to assist in defining test plans and test benches. Working with post-silicon validation teams, you will define and execute on test plans, ensuring that the final products meet the highest standards of quality. Your ability to write high-quality documents will guide and lead a scalable team, contributing to the overall success of the Blink/Ring ASIC Team.
