Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Communications Engineering or a related field, and you bring extensive experience in ASIC design, particularly in the context of camera and video processing technologies. Your background includes a strong understanding of microarchitecture and architectural modeling, which allows you to drive early design decisions that align with customer requirements. You are skilled in evaluating third-party IP blocks and estimating power, performance, and area for significant IPs early in the design cycle.

You possess a deep knowledge of RTL design and are proficient in using front-end tools such as synthesis, linting, and power analysis. Your experience includes leading verification teams to define functional coverage and collaborating with pre-silicon and post-silicon validation teams to ensure high-quality outcomes. You are adept at writing clear and comprehensive documentation to guide junior engineers and facilitate team scalability.

What you'll do

In this role, you will define architecture specifications based on product team requirements, ensuring that designs meet both performance and power efficiency goals. You will create microarchitecture specifications that junior engineers can implement, guiding them through the design process. Your responsibilities will include executing design specifications to deliver high-quality RTL and ensuring quality by running and tracking results of front-end tools.

You will take the lead in working with verification teams to define functional coverage and assist in defining test plans and test benches for pre-silicon verification. Additionally, you will collaborate with post-silicon validation teams to define and execute test plans, ensuring that the final product meets the high standards expected by Amazon customers. Your role will also involve writing high-quality documents that guide and lead a scalable team, fostering an environment of innovation and excellence.
