Who you are
You have a strong analytical skillset and relevant experience in category and assortment management, retail operations, or business analysis. You excel at telling a story with your analysis, drawing insights from a variety of data sources including transactional, market, competitor, and customer data. Your ability to explain complex data and analytical approaches in simple terms allows you to connect results with merchandising, customer, competitive, and marketing problems. You thrive in collaborative environments, working with cross-functional partners to translate business questions into actionable analyses that inform decisions.
You are experienced in utilizing advanced analytical methods to identify patterns, relationships, and trends across multiple data sources. You synthesize information to construct data-driven narratives with business-driving recommendations that can be understood and actioned upon by a broad audience. Your background in analytics equips you to support category-level insights, ad-hoc analyses, and reporting as needed.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering actionable recommendations through our category-level insights process to drive business decisions. You will collaborate with various teams across the analytics organization, including assortment analytics, pricing, and promotion, acting as a project manager to ensure stakeholder business questions are effectively addressed. Your work will involve explaining complex data findings in a way that connects with broader business objectives, ensuring that your insights lead to informed decision-making.
You will support category-level insights and reports, utilizing your experience with large enterprise databases to query and prepare data for analysis. Your role will require you to synthesize complex information into clear narratives that drive business strategies. You will also be expected to collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, ensuring that your analyses align with business objectives and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
