You are adept at overseeing routine and emergency services on various critical systems, including switchgear, generators, UPS systems, and cooling equipment. Your technical expertise allows you to implement new technologies and work practices that meet the demands of a changing market. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and security in data center operations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will act as the primary escalation point for all facilities-related issues, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will oversee the management of critical systems, performing regular assessments and implementing improvements as necessary. Your responsibilities will include conducting root cause analyses of equipment failures and troubleshooting facilities within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA).

You will work closely with the Facility Manager to set team culture and ensure that all team members are aligned with the company's goals and values. Your role will also involve creating and deploying new standard practices for data center operations, ensuring that the team is equipped with the latest knowledge and skills to succeed.

You will collaborate with various teams to test and implement new technologies that enhance operational efficiency and reliability. Your contributions will directly impact the performance of some of the world’s most powerful data centers, making you an integral part of Amazon's mission to be Earth’s most customer-centric company.
