What you'll do

As the Data Center Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for the overall management of the data center's physical infrastructure. This includes ensuring that all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment operates at 100% availability. You will lead planned preventative maintenance efforts and address daily corrective work, ensuring that any issues are resolved promptly to minimize downtime.

You will act as the primary point of contact for all facility operations within the data center, coordinating with onsite engineering operations technicians and external vendors. Your role will involve developing and implementing maintenance strategies that enhance the reliability and efficiency of the data center's systems. You will also be involved in emergency response planning and execution, ensuring that the team is prepared to handle any incidents that may arise.
