You have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or commerce and possess a strong understanding of the Accounts Receivables process. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, with the ability to manage and resolve billing issues effectively. Your strong ownership and trust-building skills enable you to facilitate timely payments from customers.

You are a quick learner who thrives in a collaborative environment, working with various stakeholders such as Billing, Finance, Legal, Tax, and Customer Service to resolve disputes and queries. Your excellent attention to detail allows you to maintain accurate accounts receivable records and ensure that aging is up to date.

You are motivated by achieving monthly productivity goals and continuously seek ways to improve the customer experience. Your ability to monitor high-risk accounts and escalate challenges to management demonstrates your commitment to excellence in collections.

Desirable

Experience in streamlining and improving accounts receivable processes is a plus, as is familiarity with customer relationship management tools. You are comfortable following up with customers via emails and phone calls to ensure timely collection of payments for your assigned portfolio.

What you'll do

As a Senior Collections Analyst at Amazon, you will be responsible for managing and resolving receivables-related queries from customers. You will follow up with customers to ensure timely collection of payments and maintain detailed post-correspondence updates on accounts receivable records. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally.

You will monitor high-risk accounts and ensure timely escalation of challenges to management, continually looking for ways to improve the customer experience. Additionally, you will assist in streamlining and improving the accounts receivable process by identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.

Your responsibilities will include reconciling complex accounts and ensuring that credits and collections are applied accurately. You will also account for uncollectible amounts and clear miscellaneous differences, all while meeting monthly productivity goals.
