Job Description
Who you are
You are a proactive communicator who values teamwork and safety. As a WHS Coordinator, you will engage professionally with the entire Fulfilment Center workforce, serving as a role model for safety practices. You are willing to rotate shifts based on business needs and are committed to maintaining compliance with safety regulations.
You have a strong understanding of workplace health and safety standards and are eager to learn the tools and processes used within the WHS function. Your ability to identify compliance issues and safety risks will be crucial in this role, as will your capacity to facilitate incident investigations and maintain necessary documentation.
What you'll do
In this role, you will conduct daily, weekly, and monthly audits to identify safety risks and improvement opportunities. You will facilitate the incident investigation process, ensuring that all safety incidents are documented and addressed in a timely manner. Your responsibilities will also include coaching Area Managers and other team members to fulfill their safety responsibilities, such as conducting audits and following safety rules.
You may have additional responsibilities related to fire prevention, hazardous waste management, or other safety-related activities depending on the specific needs of the business unit. Your participation in process improvement activities will be essential, as you will manage actions to completion to enhance safety standards within the Fulfilment Center.
