Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in workplace health and safety management, with experience in implementing safety standards and compliance measures. You are motivated to foster a safety-first culture and have a proven ability to partner with business leaders to identify and mitigate WHS risks. Your communication skills allow you to build trust with operations teams, and you are adept at influencing through data-driven insights.
You are familiar with local legislative requirements and have experience conducting safety audits and training programs. Your knowledge of lean principles and Kaizen enables you to drive continuous improvement and deliver scalable safety solutions. You are proactive in your approach and committed to maintaining a healthy and safe environment for all associates and delivery partners.
What you'll do
As the OTR WHS Manager, you will provide dedicated safety support to AMZL-Trans sites and OTR teams across Egypt. You will ensure alignment with Amazon policies and compliance with local and regional requirements. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine vehicle and road safety audits, identifying non-compliances, and driving corrective actions to eliminate risks. You will monitor and audit WHS record-keeping and ensure adherence to global standards.
You will oversee and audit safety training programs, training and coaching leaders on Amazon WHS policies. Your role will involve collaborating closely with business leaders to implement Amazonβs global safety standards and local legislative requirements. You will be instrumental in embedding road safety best practices across the network, ensuring that all associates and delivery partners operate in a safe environment.
