Job Description
Who you are
You are a motivated individual with a high school diploma or equivalent, and you have at least one year of experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. You are comfortable with data entry and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. You may have a basic understanding of mechanical or electrical engineering principles, which will help you in your role. You are open to learning and growing in a supportive environment, where you can gradually take on more responsibilities.
You understand the importance of following safety rules and procedures in a fulfillment center environment. You are proactive in communicating with your supervisors and team members, ensuring that any uncertainties are addressed promptly. You are also comfortable with occasional exposure to English terminology, as you will encounter English words in the systems used at Amazon, although fluency is not required.
What you'll do
In this role, you will primarily support the maintenance team by managing desk work related to parts ordering and inventory control. You will input data for parts orders, inspect and verify received items, and handle inventory management tasks. You will also assist in data aggregation as requested by the maintenance team, ensuring that all information is accurately recorded and reported. As you become more familiar with the processes, you will gradually take on additional responsibilities, contributing to the overall efficiency of the maintenance operations.
You will work closely with your team to ensure that all equipment and devices are functioning optimally. This includes supporting the maintenance team in troubleshooting and repairing equipment as needed. You will be trained on the necessary procedures and will have access to manuals and one-on-one guidance to help you succeed in your role. Your contributions will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and productive work environment at the fulfillment center.
What we offer
Amazon offers a supportive and inclusive workplace where you can thrive. You will receive a competitive hourly wage of 1250 yen, with transportation costs covered separately. The working hours are flexible, with a minimum of 30 hours per week, primarily between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. You will enjoy weekends and holidays off, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
