Desirable

Experience in recruiting and training data technicians is a plus, as is familiarity with operational KPIs and performance management. A background in project management within a data center context would also be beneficial.

What you'll do

As the Data Center Operations Manager, you will be operationally responsible for a data center, overseeing the performance of your team and ensuring efficient management of day-to-day operations. You will prioritize and assign trouble tickets to data center technicians and operators, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly. Your role will involve developing career paths for employees and making updates in internal tools to enhance team efficiency. You will manage staffing levels to ensure that the data center is adequately staffed at all times, particularly during night shifts. You will also participate in site-level project work, contributing to the continuous improvement of data center operations. Your expertise will be crucial in fixing complex problems within the data center space, and you will act as a subject matter expert across all aspects of data center operations.
