Who you are
You are a proven manager with extensive experience in data center operations, having successfully managed teams of high performers. Your background includes both building and managing data centers, and you have a strong ability to develop processes that drive operational excellence. You excel in fostering relationships with internal teams and external vendors, ensuring smooth operations across all aspects of data center management.
You possess a deep understanding of health and safety standards relevant to data centers, and you are committed to exceeding these standards in your work. Your leadership style emphasizes team development, providing both technical and managerial guidance to ensure the highest levels of performance. You are driven by a passion for continuous improvement and innovation in operational processes.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage and develop teams of engineers, ensuring they have the support and resources needed to excel in their roles. You will be responsible for maintaining existing data centers while also assisting in the construction and launch of new facilities. Your focus will be on optimizing processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
You will create and maintain metrics to monitor all aspects of data center performance, using these insights to drive positive changes. Collaborating with internal teams and management groups will be essential, as will managing relationships with external vendors and contractors. You will ensure compliance with local health and safety standards, fostering a culture of safety and excellence within your teams.
What we offer
Amazon provides a competitive salary range of $96,900.00 - $169,700.00 USD annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
