You are a motivated individual with a foundational understanding of IT principles, including computer architecture and the Open Systems Interconnection Model (OSI model). You enjoy solving complex problems and have a keen interest in data center operations. Your ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams, including software, hardware, and network engineers, makes you a valuable asset in maintaining AWS's global infrastructure.

Your troubleshooting skills are complemented by a strong understanding of hardware, fiber, and networking issues, allowing you to effectively resolve a range of data center infrastructure challenges.

What you'll do

As a Data Center Operations Technician, you will be the primary resolver for various data center infrastructure issues. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting hardware, networking, and related problems to ensure the smooth operation of AWS data centers. You will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to maintain the highest standards of safety and security while providing reliable access to AWS services.
