Who you are

You are a motivated individual eager to join the AWS team as a Data Center Technician. You have a foundational understanding of hardware and network diagnostics, and you are ready to engage in physical repairs to ensure the smooth operation of data centers. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working alongside a diverse team of engineers and specialists to maintain the heartbeat of the cloud infrastructure.

You possess a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You are comfortable participating in an on-call rotation, ready to tackle challenges as they arise. Your ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders is essential in this role, as you will be part of a team that prioritizes safety and security in all operations.

What you'll do

As a Data Center Technician, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining AWS data centers, ensuring that all servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment are functioning optimally. You will conduct in-depth diagnostics on hardware and network systems, identifying issues and performing necessary repairs to minimize downtime. Your responsibilities will also include collaborating with software, hardware, and network engineers to address complex challenges that impact the supply chain and overall data center operations.

You will be expected to uphold the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability and efficiency of AWS services, supporting millions of businesses and services worldwide. What we offer

Amazon provides a competitive hourly wage ranging from $29.00 to $52.00, depending on experience and qualifications. You will be part of a culture that values inclusivity and encourages bold ideas, empowering you to take ownership of your work and see it through to completion.
