You are an entry-level IT Support professional eager to dive into the world of cloud infrastructure. You have a foundational understanding of hardware and networking, and you're ready to learn and grow within a dynamic team. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will help you thrive in maintaining the heartbeat of AWS data centers.
You are comfortable with hands-on technical work, including hardware repairs and network diagnostics. You understand the importance of data center operations and are motivated to ensure that millions of businesses have continual access to the services they rely on. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with engineers and specialists across various domains.
What you'll do
As a DCO Tech at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining AWS data center operations. Your responsibilities will include performing in-depth hardware and network diagnostics, followed by physical repairs to ensure optimal performance. You will participate in an on-call rotation, responding to incidents and ensuring that the infrastructure remains operational.
You will collaborate with a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, as well as supply chain specialists and operations managers. Your role will involve troubleshooting issues, implementing solutions, and contributing to the overall safety and security standards of the data centers. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging problems that impact the supply chain and help deliver the highest standards of service to AWS customers.
What we offer
Amazon provides a competitive hourly wage ranging from $29.00 to $52.00, depending on experience and location. You will be part of an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to take ownership of your work.
