What you'll do
As a Data Center Technician at Amazon, you will play a critical role in maintaining the heartbeat of AWS's global cloud infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include performing in-depth hardware and network diagnostics, followed by physical repairs to ensure seamless data center operations. You will collaborate with various teams across AWS to deliver the highest standards of service while addressing the complex challenges that arise in data center management.
You will be involved in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment. Your role will require you to stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in data center operations, allowing you to contribute effectively to the team's success. Additionally, you will participate in an on-call rotation, ensuring that you are available to address any urgent issues that may arise outside of regular working hours.
