Who you are

You are a motivated individual eager to join Amazon's AWS team as a Data Center Technician. You possess strong organizational skills and can effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders. You are comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to prioritize tasks and react quickly to challenges is essential for success in this role. You have a keen interest in technology and are willing to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.

You understand the importance of maintaining data center operations and are ready to take on responsibilities that include hardware and network repair. You are detail-oriented and capable of creating documentation to support operational processes. Your innovative mindset allows you to propose solutions to problems that arise within the data center space. You are prepared to work in a 24/7 environment and are open to traveling within and outside the regional work area as needed.

What you'll do

As a Data Center Technician at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our global cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for installing equipment, performing hardware repairs, and troubleshooting network issues. Your work will directly impact the performance and reliability of AWS services that power millions of businesses worldwide. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and specialists to uphold the highest standards for safety and security in our data centers.

You will be involved in creating and maintaining documentation that outlines operational procedures and best practices. Your role will require you to innovate solutions to enhance data center efficiency and reliability. What we offer

Amazon offers a competitive starting pay for this position, ranging from $27.00 to $47.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Starting on Day 1 of employment, you will have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including EAP, mental health support, and a 401(k) matching program.
