What you'll do
As a Data Center Technician at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the heartbeat of the world's most innovative technology platform. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless data center operations that power millions of businesses and services worldwide. Your duties will include hardware and network repair, equipment installation, and creating documentation to support operational processes. You will collaborate with a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, as well as supply chain specialists and operations managers, to deliver the highest standards for safety and security.
You will be involved in troubleshooting and fixing problems within the data center, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally. Your role will require you to work closely with other team members to address challenges and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects that support AWS's global infrastructure, helping to keep the cloud running smoothly for customers around the world.
What we offer
Amazon offers a competitive starting pay for this position, with a range of $27.00 to $47.00 USD hourly, based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Starting on Day 1 of employment, you will have access to a variety of benefits, including EAP, Mental Health Support, and a 401(k) matching program.
