You are comfortable working in a 24/7 operational setting and are open to traveling within and outside of the regional work area as needed.

You have a foundational understanding of hardware and network repair, and you are eager to learn and innovate solutions within the data center space. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards for safety and security will contribute to the overall success of the AWS infrastructure team. You thrive in diverse teams and are excited about the opportunity to collaborate with software, hardware, and network engineers, as well as supply chain specialists and operations managers.

What you'll do

As a Data Center Technician, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the heartbeat of the world's most innovative technology platform. Your responsibilities will include installing equipment, creating documentation, and troubleshooting issues within the data center. You will be tasked with ensuring seamless operations that power millions of businesses and services worldwide. Your role will require you to innovate solutions to complex problems and contribute to the overall efficiency of data center operations.

You will collaborate closely with various teams across AWS to deliver the highest standards for safety and security. Your work will directly impact the reliability of AWS services, ensuring that customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. You will be involved in maintaining and supporting all AWS data centers, including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment. Your contributions will help tackle the most challenging problems in the industry, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain.

What we offer

Amazon offers a competitive starting pay for this position, with a range of $27.00 to $47.00 USD hourly, based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
