What you'll do

As a Data Center Technician at Amazon, you will play a critical role in maintaining the global cloud infrastructure that powers millions of businesses and services. Your responsibilities will include performing in-depth hardware and network diagnostics followed by physical repairs to ensure seamless data center operations. You will participate in an on-call rotation, responding to incidents and ensuring that systems are operational at all times.

You will collaborate with a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, as well as supply chain specialists and operations managers. Your role will involve troubleshooting issues, performing routine maintenance, and implementing solutions to enhance the efficiency of data center operations. You will also contribute to projects aimed at improving infrastructure reliability and capacity.
