You have a strong background in data science with experience in statistical analysis and machine learning techniques — you've successfully modeled complex problems and discovered insights that drive operational efficiencies. Your expertise in Python and data visualization tools allows you to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
You are familiar with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) — you understand how to leverage these technologies to create intelligent forecasting solutions and automated pattern recognition systems. Your analytical mindset helps you uncover hidden risks and trends that can improve customer experience.
You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can work collaboratively within a team — you thrive in environments where you can contribute to innovative solutions that enhance operational processes. Your ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner is one of your key strengths.
Desirable
Experience with data mining and data analysis techniques is a plus — you have a knack for identifying opportunities through data and translating them into actionable insights. Familiarity with operational dashboards and conversational AI interfaces will set you apart.
What you'll do
As a Data Scientist on the SPS Forecasting and Planning Research team, you will model complex problems and provide analytical solutions to drive operational efficiencies. You will be responsible for developing and deploying Generative AI-powered solutions that enhance forecasting accuracy and automate pattern recognition in variance analysis.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to uncover hidden risks and trends, reducing investigation errors and bad debt. Your role will involve leveraging statistical, machine learning, and data mining techniques to identify opportunities for optimization in SPS operations.
You will also work on building agentic AI systems that enable natural language querying and automated root cause analysis — your contributions will directly impact the customer experience and operational effectiveness of Amazon's Selling Partner Services.
