Who you are

You are an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in ensuring electrical integrity across interconnected systems. You have a deep understanding of harness design and are skilled in analyzing and mitigating issues such as noise, crosstalk, and electromagnetic interference (EMI). Your expertise allows you to define and validate grounding schemes and shielding approaches for sensitive signal lines, ensuring the reliability of complex systems.

You possess a solid foundation in electrical engineering principles and have experience working with electromechanical assemblies. Your analytical skills enable you to lead the development and enforcement of harness design standards, ensuring compliance with industry best practices. You are a proactive problem solver who thrives in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of electrical integrity for Amazon Leo's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. You will lead analysis and mitigation strategies for signal degradation and transient susceptibility, ensuring that the interconnected systems operate reliably under various conditions. Your responsibilities will include defining and validating grounding and shielding strategies for test systems, as well as specifying technical requirements for harness design standards.

You will collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to develop solutions that enhance the performance and reliability of the satellite systems. Your work will directly impact the delivery of fast and reliable internet to customers and communities around the world. You will also be involved in the continuous improvement of design processes and standards, contributing to the overall success of the Amazon Leo project.
