Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in embedded systems development, particularly in designing and implementing software for secure communications. You understand the importance of high reliability in embedded software development and are committed to following best practices to ensure security and reliability in satellite communications.

You enjoy collaborating with hardware teams to support board design, bring-up, and verification processes. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for developing innovative solutions that contribute to the success of complex projects.

What you'll do

In this role, you will drive the design, development, and operation of embedded security capabilities for Amazon's satellite initiative. Your responsibilities will include owning the design and implementation of embedded software functions, conducting thorough testing, and integrating your work into the overall satellite system.

You will work on the Satellite Communication Systems Payload, contributing to the development of high-speed broadband internet connectivity for underserved communities. Your role will involve following best practices in embedded software development to ensure high levels of security and reliability throughout the satellite's lifecycleβ€”from launch to de-orbit. You will also be responsible for collaborating with hardware teams to support the design and verification of satellite systems, ensuring that all components work seamlessly together.
