You have operational experience and familiarity with electrical and mechanical equipment, including Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS’s), Switchgear, and Circuit Breakers. You demonstrate a strong willingness to learn new processes and adapt to rapidly changing operational scenarios with conflicting priorities. You are a motivated, self-managed person who proactively seeks solutions to problems while striving for operational excellence. You understand the importance of maintaining safety standards and fostering a world-class safety culture within the workplace.

You possess a solid background in engineering operations, with a focus on maintaining the availability of technical infrastructure. Your experience includes overseeing facility operations and ensuring the implementation of safety procedures. You are detail-oriented and committed to ensuring that all operations align with the highest safety standards. What you'll do

In this role, you will oversee the operation and maintenance of the electrical and mechanical infrastructure for Amazon Web Services (AWS) Data Centers. You will be responsible for maintaining the availability of technical infrastructure and ensuring the upkeep and operation of the Data Center facility. You will collaborate with other teams to remediate safety risks and issues, ensuring a strong safety culture is upheld. You will also be involved in the operational experience of electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring that all systems function optimally and efficiently.

You will work closely with the Engineering and Facilities team to implement best practices in facility operations. Your role will require you to follow and maintain the highest safety standards while encouraging a culture of safety among your peers. You will be expected to take ownership of safety initiatives and projects, fostering a strong safety culture within the team. Your proactive approach to problem-solving will be essential in maintaining operational excellence and ensuring that the Data Centers meet the needs of customers.
