What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting various electrical and mechanical systems within Amazon's data centers. You will work with stand-by diesel generators, three-phase electrical systems, and cooling equipment to ensure optimal performance. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining an extraordinary 99.999% uptime, which is critical for our global digital infrastructure.

You will collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve issues quickly, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless operations. Your role will involve hands-on work with equipment such as UPSs, PDUs, and centrifugal chillers, requiring a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles and mechanical systems.

You will also participate in routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks, documenting your findings and actions to maintain compliance with operational standards. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and reliability of our data center operations, making you a key player in our mission to support AWS infrastructure services.

Amazon offers a competitive starting pay range of $31.00 - $55.00 USD hourly, based on experience and qualifications.
