You are an entry-level Engineering Technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems. You have hands-on experience troubleshooting complex equipment and are eager to learn about data center operations. Your attention to detail ensures that you maintain high standards of uptime and reliability in mission-critical environments.

You possess a basic understanding of three-phase electrical systems, including switch gear, UPSs, and PDUs. You are familiar with diesel generators and fuel systems, and you are ready to dive into the world of data center operations. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are excited to work alongside a diverse team of engineers and specialists.

What you'll do

As an Engineering Operations Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the electrical and mechanical systems that keep our data centers running smoothly. You will work with standby diesel generators, cooling systems, and various electrical components to ensure optimal performance. Your role is critical in achieving our goal of 99.999% uptime, and you will be the first line of defense in addressing any operational issues.

You will collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve problems quickly, ensuring that our infrastructure remains robust and reliable. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency of our data centers, supporting the global digital experiences of millions of customers. You will also have opportunities to learn and grow within the AWS Infrastructure Services team, tackling some of the most challenging problems in the industry.
