Your experience with data center operations or similar facilities has equipped you with the skills to maintain critical infrastructure effectively.

You possess a keen understanding of three-phase electrical systems, including switch gear, UPSs, and PDUs — your familiarity with diesel generators and cooling systems will be invaluable in this role. You are detail-oriented and committed to ensuring operational excellence, contributing to an extraordinary uptime of 99.999%.

What you'll do

As an Engineering Operations Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting mission-critical facilities within AWS data centers — your role is essential in keeping the digital world running smoothly. You will operate and maintain various systems, including electrical equipment, cooling towers, and pumps, ensuring they function optimally.

You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and specialists, tackling challenges that arise in the supply chain and infrastructure management — your contributions will directly impact the reliability of AWS services. You will also engage in preventive maintenance and respond to operational issues, ensuring that all systems are running efficiently.
