Your ability to track inventory and manage supply chain processes is essential for success in this role. You have a proactive approach to identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions that enhance operational effectiveness.

You possess a foundational knowledge of AWS infrastructure and understand the critical role it plays in maintaining cloud services. Your communication skills enable you to effectively liaise with Data Center Operations Technicians, Engineers, and external vendors. You are committed to upholding safety and security standards in all logistics operations.

What you'll do

As a Data Center Logistics Technician, you will review data center inventory and manage inbound shipments to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained. You will collaborate with the Logistics Manager to create plans that optimize the flow of parts through their lifecycle, tracking inventory locations, movements, age, and turns. Your role will involve working closely with Data Center Operations Technicians and Engineers to fulfill parts requests quickly and accurately, ensuring that all operational needs are met.

You will also interface directly with vendors and work with Procurement and Hardware Engineering teams to purchase new parts as needed. Your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining accurate records and ensuring that all logistics processes align with AWS's high standards for efficiency and reliability. You will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement in logistics operations.
