Who you are
You are an entry-level Engineering Operations Technician eager to support the operations of some of the worldβs most powerful data centers. You have a foundational understanding of AWS and are ready to work with teams of front-line responders who maintain and operate critical infrastructure systems. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are excited to tackle the challenges of ensuring continual access to cloud services for customers.
You possess strong problem-solving skills and are comfortable working with various technologies related to servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment. You understand the importance of safety and security in data center operations and are committed to delivering high standards in these areas. You are adaptable and ready to learn from experienced engineers in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do
As an Engineering Operations Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating critical infrastructure systems within Amazon's data centers. You will collaborate with a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers to ensure that all systems are prepared to handle any situation. Your role will involve troubleshooting issues, performing routine maintenance, and supporting the overall operations of AWS data centers.
You will engage in hands-on work with various equipment and systems, ensuring that they function optimally to provide the best service to customers. You will also participate in safety and security protocols, contributing to a culture that prioritizes the well-being of all team members and the integrity of the data center operations.
What we offer
Amazon offers a competitive starting pay for this position, with a range of $31.00 to $55.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
